Mariah Carey Finally Shares Update After Multiple Concert Cancellations

Mariah Carey is on the mend, and just in time to say, "It's a Wrap."

On Monday evening, a week after being forced to cancel her first show in a series of last-minute changes to her 2024 Christmas Time tour, the 55-year-old shared a much-awaited statement regarding her plans for her final show on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

"Lambs, thank you for making my #Christmastime so special ❤️," she began in the caption of her Dec. 16 Instagram upload, which featured a slideshow of photos and several short clips documenting her favorite moments from her current tour.

"I’ve loved singing with you every night," she added before alluding that she's back to feeling like herself and would be taking the stage for her final performance as scheduled. "I can’t wait to see you all tomorrow in Brooklyn for the last show of the tour ✨?."

As Parade previously reported, Carey told fans hours before the curtain at her concert in Pittsburgh on Dec. 11 that the show would not be happening because she had come down with the flu. Then, two days later, the "Queen of Christmas" shared another "really devastating update" that she had to cancel two more shows, this time at the Prudential Center in New Jersey and UBS Arena in New York. All ticketholders were told at the time that they would be refunded.

We're certainly happy to hear that Carey is apparently feeling much better—and so are fans, who took to the comments of her most recent post to share their delight over the pleasant update.

"Incredible ❤️," one gushed. "Hope you’re feeling better."

"FOMO kicking in real hard right now!" a second exclaimed. "Have an amazing closing night Mariah! ❤️?."

"I can't believe that tomorrow is the final date ??," another added.

"Hope you fully recovered," one more wrote. "Enjoy your last night and don’t forget to celebrate your sweet 16. ❤️??," they added, praising the pop star's feat of having "All I Want for Christmas" at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 16 weeks.
