As we turn the last page on Yellowstone, fans can rest assured the Dutton saga will continue in one form or another. Season 2 of prequel series 1923 will release in February 2025. Plus, it was recently announced that two fan-favorite characters would continue the present-day Dutton story with a spinoff series of their own. The yet-to-be-name spinoff will star Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, who will reprise their roles as Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, respectively. Fans eager to see the new incarnation of Yellowstone will likely have to wait until the latter half of 2025 at the earliest as production has yet to commence on the new series.

Meanwhile, 1923 is heading into its much-anticipated second season with guns blazing. The series, led by Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren finds the Dutton clan fighting to keep their land. Jacob (Ford) and Cara (Mirren) Dutton must stave off the likes of Donald Whitfield (Timothy Dutton) and Banner Creighton (Jerome Flynn) while trying to survive the harsh Montana winter.

When we last left Spencer Dutton (Brandon Sklenar) and his new bride, Alexandra (Julia Schlaepfer), the two were lost at sea, clinging to a capsized boat. In the new official trailer for Season 2 of 1923, it looks like the two made it to safety, but were somehow separated during their journey back to the Montana ranch Spencer calls home.

Season 1 of 1923 will be broadcast in its entirety on Paramount Network beginning on Sunday, Dec. 8. You can also stream it on Paramount+. Season 2 of 1923 premieres exclusively on Sunday, Feb. 23 on Paramount+.
