Lebanese authorities are on alert to prevent Syrian nationals from crossing the border into Lebanon illegally. Authorities have “strict instructions” in place to “prevent the random entry of Syrians into Lebanon,” state media quoted Bassam Mawlawi, Lebanon’s interior minister, as saying.
