The Giza Governorate has announced a complete closure of the 26th of July Axis, specifically the stretch between the Western Ring Road and the New Ahmed Arabi Axis, in the direction coming from 6th of October City towards Lebanon Square. This closure will commence at 12 AM on Friday and will last for 7 months, with construction work ongoing 24 hours a day. The governorate explained that this closure is necessary to facilitate the National Authority for Tunnels’ takeover of the first phase of the monorail station (Station 11) as part of the Nile Valley monorail project between Engineers and 6th of October, within the Giza Governorate.
