(KRON) -- An earthquake that struck Humboldt County in Northern California was felt in the Bay Area Thursday morning. The quake was a preliminary magnitude of 6.6, according to the United States Geological Survey. However, the USGS later revised that magnitude to 7.0. The quake, which struck at 10:44 a.m., was reportedly felt around the Bay Area.
