Got an out-of-town appointment today, so it’s a bit of a road trip with The Little Boy. Hopefully I can avoid missing out on anything too major, but the good news is that he’s a BN reader these days, so he’ll understand – and be happy – if I have to jump on something …. With the addition of Matthew Boyd, the Cubs’ rotation gets a little more left-handed (could be four lefties in the rotation at times, between Boyd, Justin Steele, Shōta Imanaga, and Jordan Wicks), and if they were to trade for Garrett Crochet, it would become all the more so.
