India serious for Ahmedabad 2036 Olympics, target slew of World Championships and other events too ...Middle East

It seems that India, the IOA and the other stakeholders are mighty serious about getting Olympics to Ahmedabad in 2036, and are leaving no stone unturned, in the efforts. Now, India has shown intent to hots the 2028 U-20 World Athletics Championships, to gain some valuable experience in hosting big events, as per a report in Indian Express. The report further said that the letter of intent was handed over to the World Athletics chief Sebastian Coe, who was in India a few days back. And not just the 2028 U-20 World Athletics Championships, but a recent meeting between the centre and Gujarat government could see many more international events come to India, maybe the CWG again as well.
