December 2, 2024 (EL FASHER) — At least eight people were killed and 13 others injured when the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) shelled a camp for displaced people in North Darfur for a second consecutive day, camp officials said Monday. The RSF has been besieging the Zamzam camp, located 13 kilometres (8 miles) southwest of El Fasher, and began firing long-range missiles on Sunday. Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), also known as Doctors Without Borders, said the attack turned the lives of displaced people into a “living nightmare,” with casualties, widespread panic, and increased displacement.
