HE the Minister of State for Energy Affairs Saad bin Sherida al-Kaabi, who is also chairman and managing director of Industries Qatar (IQ), has appointed Abdulrahman Ali al-Abdulla as the new managing director and CEO of Qatar Steel from January 1. Al-Abdulla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Business Administration (major in Marketing) from University of Denver Colorado, US. He brings a wealth of experience, cumulated over 28 years of services in Qatar Petroleum (QP) and its affiliates.
