Mark Pless is one of three Republican lawmakers who could stand in the way of the GOP being able to override a veto from North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper. Cooper vetoed SB 382 on Tuesday, blasting the legislation for violating the state constitution and providing little in the way of relief for Hurricane Helene victims.
