CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A woman accused of drunk driving and killing a Charlotte woman on her wedding night is set to go to trial more than a year after the fatal crash. Jamie Lee Komoroski, 27, was charged with reckless vehicular homicide and three counts of felony DUI for the crash in Folly Beach, South Carolina on April 28, 2023. Bride Samantha Miller, 34, and groom Aric Hutchinson were married during a ceremony held on Folly Beach. Soon after leaving the wedding party, while traveling on a golf cart, the newlyweds and two other family members were struck by a vehicle driven by Komoroski.
