Ahmed Diab reveals his 1st move after requesting lifting of immunity

A member of the Egyptian Senate and head of the Egyptian Professional League, Ahmed Diab, revealed a new step regarding lifting his parliamentary immunity, which came at his request. Diab said in exclusive statements to Al-Masry Al-Youm: “The personal lawyer will follow up on all the legal details and head to the Public Prosecution’s office to take over the matter.” He stressed: “I will remain silent during the coming period and will not make any statements out of respect for the official authorities, and until the investigations are completed.” Diab added that he will attend Senate sessions normally during the coming period, adding: “Lifting immunity does not interfere with performing the p
