The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, a premier event in the music industry, has announced its headliners for 2025: Lady Gaga, Post Malone, and Green Day . Scheduled for April 11-13 and April 18-20, this year's festival promises to showcase an eclectic mix of artists spanning various genres. The inclusion of prominent figures such as Missy Elliott and Megan Thee Stallion alongside established bands like Green Day highlights Coachella’s commitment to diversity in musical representation
The 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’s full lineup has been revealed, almost two months earlier than its usual January drop. Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone, and Travis Scott will headline the event, which returns to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, across two weekends this spring: April 11-13 and April 18-20. Other artists on the bill include Charli XCX, FKA twigs Missy Elliott, Megan Thee Stallion, Kraftwerk, Mustard, Tyla, Japanese Breakfast, Arca, Gel, and many more. Find the full lineup below.
Both Fridays of Coachella 2025 will feature performances by FKA twigs, the Prodigy, Three 6 Mafia, Ravyn Lenae, Eyedress, HiTech, and more, in addition to Gaga’s headlining sets.
Rapper Travis Scott will also be appearing at the festival to perform a career retrospective set, according to Goldenvoice, the festival’s organizer.
Goldenvoice announced the full Coachella lineup on Wednesday, with artists including Charli XCX, Missy Elliot, Megan Thee Stallion, Benson Boone, Lisa, Shaboozey, the Go Go’s and FKA Twigs, among others, confirmed to appear at the festival’s 2025 offering.
Gaga notoriously headlined the music festival in 2017 after Beyoncé – then pregnant with her twins Sir and Rumi – dropped out as that year’s original headliner, per doctor’s orders. Beyoncé returned to headline the following year.
2025 would mark Green Day’s first Coachella performance. The pop-punk band got its start in the East Bay’s DIY scene, playing punk shows at 924 Gilman. Millions of dollars in record sales later, they still go to bat for their hometown. At a recent San Francisco show, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong railed against A’s owner John Fisher for moving the team to Las Vegas. “I f—king hate Las Vegas!” Armstrong said. “It’s the worst s—thole in America. Can you feel me?”
The selection of these headliners reflects not only their individual popularity but also their cultural significance in contemporary music. Lady Gaga's innovative artistry continues to push boundaries within the pop genre, while Post Malone has successfully blended hip-hop with melodic elements that appeal to a broad audience. Similarly, Green Day's punk rock legacy resonates with both nostalgic fans and newer generations alike . This diverse lineup is poised to attract a wide array of festival-goers.
