The Pogues Announce First U.K. Tour Since Passing of Frontman Shane MacGowan ...Middle East

Influential Celtic rock band The Pogues have announced a 2025 tour of the U.K., celebrating 40 years of their second album, Rum Sodomy & the Lash. The tour is the group’s first since their 2014 split, and their first since the passing of vocalist and lyricist Shane MacGowan in 2023. The seven shows will take place across May 2025, with dates scheduled for Leeds, Birmingham, London, Glasgow, Manchester, and Newcastle. According to a post on the band’s website, the tour will feature founding members Spider Stacy, James Fearnley, and Jem Finer joined by some unnamed “special guests” to celebrate the 40th anniversary
