GASTONIA, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- An off-duty Gaston County Police officer has been charged in connection with a domestic violence incident, according to the police department. Rebecca Gomez, 26, was booked around 4:15 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, for felony assault by strangulation and misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.
