Iraq has declared its highest state of alert and will impose a two-day nationwide curfew starting late Tuesday night in preparation for the country's first comprehensive population census in nearly four decades. The Iraqi High-Security Committee for the National Census announced the measures on Monday, marking a significant step toward ensuring the successful execution of the census on 20-21 November.
