Washington:  US President-elect Donald Trump has announced that oil and gas industry executive Chris Wright, a staunch defender of fossil fuel use, would be his choice to lead the Department of Energy. “As Secretary of Energy, Chris will be a key leader, driving innovation, cutting red tape, and ushering in a new ‘Golden Age of American Prosperity and Global Peace’,” Trump said on Saturday in a statement.
