Artem Chigvintsev Claims Over $100k Loss After False Domestic Violence Accusations

In recent developments, Artem Chigvintsev, a professional dancer and former cast member of "Dancing with the Stars," claims to have incurred over $100,000 in financial losses due to false domestic violence allegations made by his estranged wife, Nikki Garcia. Following an arrest in August 2024 that stemmed from these accusations, Chigvintsev was removed from a dance faculty list and the "Dancing with the Stars" roster . This removal not only diminished his immediate income but also had adverse effects on his social media promotional revenue.

According to new court docs, obtained by TMZ, Artem says he was a working dancer despite Nikki's claims to the contrary after he lost his gig on "Dancing With The Stars." Artem says he regularly picked up dance jobs that would last for 20 weekends.

But, after his bust, Artem says his mugshot spread in the media based on Nikki's false allegations, and he was removed from job listings, leading to his $100,000 erosion of income.

Artem added, "I also lost the social media promotion revenue, which  continues to benefit from as she was more worried about her career when she lied to the police, than mine."

The Blast noted that the judge ordered Chigvintsev and Garcia to co-parent their son Matteo without any uncomfortable strings attached.

In her divorce filing, the reality star asked for full custody of Matteo and for the Russian dancer to be granted supervised visitation and ordered to undergo anger management classes. 

While all her custody reports were thrown out, the judge charged the former couple to find common ground regarding co-parenting their son.

They were ordered to attend parenting classes and individual therapy to sort out their differences and prove that they had what it took to raise a child together.

The dancer was released from police custody on the same day on a $25,000 bail. Napa County District Attorney Alison Haley announced the office's decision not to press charges against the choreographer on September 24.

As for Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Garcia's divorce, a trial was reportedly scheduled for December and was expected to occur over two days.
