Environment Minister Yasmin Fouad said the environmental segment of the World Urban Forum (WUF12) is very important for curbing impact of climate change on cities, pointing out that the Ministry of Environment participates in nine sessions tackling issues on climate change and cities. In statements to MENA on Wednesday 6/11/2024 on the sidelines of WUF12 hosted in Egypt until November the minister said, all cities are affected by climate change, adding that 70% of the world emission include cities, buildings and transport sector.
