CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Election Day is Tuesday, November 5, and it's projected to be busy. As you're getting ready to head to the polls, here are 9 things to keep in mind: Go to your assigned polling place on Election Day. There are more than 2,650 polling places open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Voters in line at 7:30 p.m. will be able to cast a ballot.
