With Jay Shah set to step down as the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in November, Rohan Jaitley has emerged as the frontrunner to replace him. In August this year, Shah was elected unopposed as the new ICC chairman. He will replace Greg Barclay as the next ICC chief. The BCCI secretary will be starting his stint as the ICC chairman from December 1. He became the youngest to be elected as the ICC chairman. Jay Shah will become the fifth Indian to hold the prestigious post. The other Indians to ply their trade as the ICC chair are Jagmohan Dalmiya, Sharad Pawar, N Srinivasan, and Shashank Manohar.
