Shafaq News/On Saturday, Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri stated that a recent US-mediatedceasefire initiative to resolve hostilities in Lebanon has failed, withpolitical negotiations postponed until after the US elections. Berri toldAsharq Al-Awsat Newspaper that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahurejected a “Lebanese roadmap” that had been agreed upon with US envoy AmosHochstein.
