BELOVED morning news anchor Wally Kennedy has died at age 76. Kennedy, a former anchor at ABC affiliate WPVI-TV for 30 years, died on Wednesday. Wally Kennedy, a long time at ABC affiliate WPVI-TV, died on Wednesday His death was announced by Bernie Prazenica, the president and general manager of WPVI-TV. “Wally had a very distinctive voice and one that was unusually strong and easily remembered,” Prazenica said in a statement.
