Sri Lanka Cricket launches new tournament!! IPL future in threat? ...Middle East

Sri Lanka will host its inaugural men's T10 tournament from December 12 to 22, as announced by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC). The T10 tournament is scheduled to take place over 11 days between the end of the second Test in South Africa and the start of a white-ball series in New Zealand later in December. SLC is collaborating with T Ten Sports Management, T Ten Global Sports, and Innovative Production Group to host the inaugural Lanka T10 Super League in December. Teams can select emerging players from Zimbabwe and the West Indies, where T Ten Global Sports is also running ventures. A player draft is set to take place for the league on November 10 in Colombo.
