Gas leak spurs precautionary evacuations in SF ...Middle East

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Residents of a San Francisco neighborhood were told to evacuate on Tuesday after a gas leak. The San Francisco Fire Department called the evacuations a "precaution" and said there is currently no threat to the public. San Francisco temperatures expected to hit mid-90s Tuesday The evacuation is for residents south of Paul Avenue on Crane Street, Exeter Street and Gould Street SFFD and police officers went door-to-door to tell residents to evacuate or shelter in place. An air-conditioned Muni bus was sent for residents who evacuated. The gas leak was first reported at 10:17 a.m. SFFD and PG&E have been in the area since then. PG&E is working
