Friendly result: Manchester United 3 Real Betis 2

In a thrilling encounter at Old Trafford, Manchester United emerged victorious with a narrow but hard-fought 3-2 win against Real Betis. The match was a rollercoaster of emotions, showcasing the resilience and determination of the Red Devils. Early in the first half, United took the lead with a stunning strike from Marcus Rashford, who found the back of the net with a curling effort from the edge of the area.

Real Betis finished the game in the ascendancy, albeit without really troubling Heaton, who saw out the full game with Andre Onana remaining rested on the bench. Pablo Garcia and Nabil Fekir may feel they could have done better than send their shots whistling just wide of the woodwork. United's 3-2 victory and Liverpool's 2-1 triumph on the same night - against Arsenal in Philadelphia - sets us up nicely for our final match of Tour 2024, presented by Snapdragon, when England's two most successful clubs meet on Saturday night in South Carolina.

With time running out, United's new signing delivered a breathtaking solo goal, dribbling past several defenders and slotting the ball home to make it 3-1. But Betis wasn’t done yet; they rallied and caught United off guard with a late goal, setting up a tense finish. Despite their best efforts, United held firm in the dying moments to secure the victory, leaving the fans celebrating in the stands. What a match it was—a true testament to the spirit of football!
