UPD: Ukiah woman arrested for DUI after high-speed pursuit ...Middle East

A Ukiah woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence early Sunday morning after nearly hitting several pedestrians before leading an officer on a high-speed pursuit through town, the Ukiah Police Department reported. According to the UPD, an officer driving in the 1000 block of South State Street around 2:20 a.m. Nov. 29 heard several people yelling in the driveway of a motel, then saw an SUV heading southbound from the motel at a high rate of speed. Learning that the SUV had nearly hit four pedestrians while the driver exited the driveway in reverse, the officer then turned on his emergency lights and tried to pull over the vehicle, which ran though red lights as it headed
