India's PM Narendra Modi likened the launch of the Kartarpur corridor and the landmark Ayodhya ruling to the fall of one of the Cold War’s iconic symbols, noting the events occuring on the same day was a message to stay “united.” The date coincided with the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the parallels were immediately drawn. “Today is November 9, the day when the Berlin Wall was brought down.
