Ian Hart and Vincent Regan have been named among the guest stars for the upcoming ninth season of Shetland. Hart, who was recently seen in Mr Bates vs The Post Office, and Regan, whose credits include Traces and Luther: The Fallen Sun, will appear alongside series leads Ashley Jensen and Alison O’Donnell in the upcoming run, which has just begun filming. “I’m looking forward to embarking on a Shetland adventure,” Hart said of his casting. “It’s a place I’ve always wanted to visit and to do so with this incredible drama is wonderful.” Regan added: “I’m thrilled be joining the cast of Shetland which is such a beloved BBC drama.
