PSG 2-0 Real Sociedad

In a thrilling encounter, Paris Saint-Germain emerged victorious with a 2-0 triumph over Real Sociedad. The match showcased the brilliance of PSG's attacking prowess and their defensive resilience. PSG took control of the game and in the 70th minute, Barcola extended their lead as he nudged the ball through the legs of the goalkeeper Alex Remiro.

"We struggled a lot in the first half. We spoke to each other at halftime and the coach (Luis Enrique) pulled our strings. He was really upset," PSG captain Marquinhos told Canal Plus.

"Our attitude was much better in the second half. He (Luis Enrique) always tells us the truth, and that's very important for the team.

There was relief, too, that Mbappé lasted the whole game.

Mbappé's sore left ankle kept him on the bench for Saturday’s French league game, but he showed no ill effects when he latched onto Dembelé's pass and forced a save in the sixth minute.

After that chance, however, PSG’s intensity dropped right off.

The victory was not only significant for PSG in terms of securing three points but also demonstrated their ability to perform under pressure against formidable opposition. It highlighted their determination to compete at the highest level and maintain their status as one of Europe's elite clubs.
