Bucks win 120-84 over Hornets

The recent victory of the Milwaukee Bucks over the Charlotte Hornets with a score of 120-84 is not just a testament to their skill and dominance, but also a compelling reason why they deserve our support. This impressive win showcases the team's ability to work together cohesively, demonstrating their potential for future success.

Firstly, the Bucks' victory highlights their exceptional teamwork. Every player on the court contributed to this resounding triumph, displaying their commitment to each other and their shared goal. From Giannis Antetokounmpo's powerful dunks to Khris Middleton's precise shooting, every member of the team played an integral role in securing this convincing win.

Malik Beasley made seven 3-pointers on nine attempts and finished with 21 points for Milwaukee, which improved to 2-5 under Rivers, who replaced Adrian Griffin. Rivers moved past Larry Brown on the regular-season victories list.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 15 points and 15 rebounds in just 24 minutes, and Bobby Portis added 18 points and seven rebounds.

The Bucks led by 28 points at halftime and increased their lead to as many as 42 in the second half.

Lillard missed the previous two games — both losses — with a sprained left ankle but showed no ill effects Friday. He shot 9 of 18 and added eight assists in 29 minutes.

Brandon Miller and Nick Richards each scored 16 points for the Hornets (10-41), who had just 10 available players and used all of them after making several moves at the trade deadline Thursday.

Milwaukee caught fire from three and shot the ball at a high percentage from the field for the game. Malik Beasley could not be stopped as he had the hot touch in this one, knocking down 7-of-9 attempts from downtown. Three other Bucks made two or more shots from deep.

Khris Middleton will miss his second game in a row with his left ankle sprain and Chris Livingston is out on a G-League assignment. Giannis and Jae Crowder are probable to play in this one, but we still don’t know if Damian Lillard will play as he is still dealing with a left ankle sprain. It’s unlikely that newly acquired guard Patrick Beverley will play tonight.

The Hornets’ new acquisitions of Grant Williams, Seth Curry, Tre Mann, Davis Bertans, and Vasilije Micic will not play yet as their trades are not finalized. Kyle Lowry is still away from the team while waiting for a potential buyout. Frank Ntilikina, James Bouknight, and Ish Smith will not play as they were all cut following the trade deadline.
