The Qatar Insurance Group, the flagship insurer in Qatar as well as the Middle East and North Africa region, has appointed Hasan al-Lawati as the new chief executive of its subsidiary Oman Qatar Insurance Company (OQIC). He will drive forward the strategic goals of OQIC and also facilitate its further growth and development in Oman. This step comes in line with QIC Group’s consistent strategic approach, which is aimed at focusing on identifying local talent and empowering them to spearhead key developments within the QIC Group.
