Bhubaneswar: The officials of Department of Sports and Youth Services and players sang the State anthem ‘Bande Utkal Janani’ at Kalinga Stadium to commemorate the first World Odia Language Conference, which began here on Saturday. The first World Odia Language Conference is a celebration of the antiquity and continuity of Odia. While inaugurating the three-day conference, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said that Odia language is the identity of Odia people. Odia is a classical language which is getting enriched with the addition of new words regularly, the CM added.
