Bhubaneswar: Noted Odia linguist Dr Debi Prasanna Pattanayak will be conferred with the first World Odia Language Award. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will present the award to Dr Debi Prasanna Pattanayak. He will be given a citation and award amount of Rs 20 Lakhs. The award will be given on the occasion of the first World Odia Language Conference in recognition of his life-long contribution towards quality research on Odia language.
