Sudanese civilian coalition to meet with RSF leader in Addis Ababa

December 31, 2023 (KHARTOUM) – The Sudanese pro-civilian Coordination of Civil Democratic Forces (Taqaddum) will convene with Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Chief Mohamed Hamdan Daglo in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on Monday, January 1, 2024. In a statement released on Sunday, the coalition announced that its delegation will be headed by former Prime Minister and Tagaddum Chairman Abdallah Hamdok. “The meeting aims to address pressing issues related to protecting civilians, facilitating humanitarian aid delivery, and exploring pathways towards a peaceful resolution of the ongoing conflict in Sudan,” the statement reads.
