Odisha Govt Extends Upper Age Limit for OCS Recruitment Examinations to 38 Years ...Middle East

Bhubaneswar: The State Cabinet led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday approved a proposal for amendment to the Odisha Civil Service (Fixation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1989. The upper age limit of candidates has been increased from 32 to 38 years to provide the candidates enough opportunity to appear in the Odisha Civil Service recruitment exams for the calendar year 2024. The upper age limit for entry into government service is governed under the Odisha Civil Service (Fixation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1989. As per the provisions contained under rule 2 of the said rules, the upper age limit for entry into Government Service is 32 (Thirty two) years relaxable in case of ST/SC/SEB
