Birdbath project in Sheehaniya Park ...Qatar

Al Sheehaniya Municipality, a member of the Unesco Global Network of Learning Cities, in co-operation with Qatar Charity (QC), launched birdbaths in Sheehaniya Park. The birdbaths are designed in the form of a bathhouse according to the traditional Qatari architectural identity, with the aim of caring for the birds in Qatar. Jaber Hassan al-Jaber, director of Al Sheehaniya Municipality, thanked Qatar Charity for its co-operation in the project, rooted in the Qatari heritage and derived from the teachings of Islam.
