Those Entering Homelessness Continue to Outpace Those Exiting, Report Finds

Photo by Chris Stone  The number of people in San Diego County falling into homelessness continues to outpace those exiting into housing, data from the Regional Task Force on Homelessness revealed Friday. According to the RTFH, on average, between September 2022 and October 2023, 10 people found housing for every 16 people who experienced homelessness for the first time. During the previous 12 months — September 2021 to October 2022 — 10 people found housing for every 13 who experienced homelessness for the first time.
