QRCS provides humanitarian assistance to support health system in Ethiopia

Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) provided various humanitarian assistance to support the efforts of the Ethiopian Red Cross in combating the Covid-19 in the country. The humanitarian assistance will benefit 65,210 people in the Oromia and Gambella provinces, with a total budget of $113,670. In partnership with the Ethiopian Red Cross, QRCS provides technical and financial support in addition to supervising field work, through the National Society branches in Oromia and Gambella provinces. These assistance included personal protective equipment (PPE), hygiene and sterilization supplies, and non-medical materials, which would contribute to limiting the spread of the virus among vulnerable
