Associate professor dies after three weeks of being released from Houthi-run prisons
Republican Yemen An associate professor at Sana’a University died today of a stroke, after three weeks of being released from Houthi-run prisons in the rebel-held capital, Sana’a. Adnan al-Shargabi, who was an associate professor of psychology in the Faculty of Arts, had a stroke yesterday night and was submitted to Science and Technology Hospital where he died today morning, a medical source told Republican Yemen on condition of anonymity. According to the source, the associate professor was suffering from chronic diseases and his condition worsened due to not being able to take his medicine while being held in prison where he was subject to physical and psychological torture.
