To the Editor: Dear Ms. Paton and Ms. Tayo, Since the beginning of 2023, KZYX has suffered numerous signal interruptions stemming from a power outage at our transmitter site on Cold Springs Mountain, operated by Cal Fire and the State of California Department of General Services. The site serves KZYX and about a dozen other transmittees. These signal interruptions — as long as four hours or more — have greatly harmed KZYX by negatively affecting our most basic function: providing a reliable broadcast signal. The signal dropouts also threaten our primary mission of providing timely emergency response with in formation about disasters, evacuations, road closures, etc. We greatly value our coop
