Syrian-Chinese talks on cooperation in power sector

Damascus, SANA- Minister of Electricity, Ghassan al-Zamil, discussed with Chinese Ambassador in Damascus, Shi Hongwei, means of developing cooperation between the two countries in the power sector. Minister al-Zamil hailed china’s positions in support of Syria in all difficult times the country has passed through. Chinese Ambassador Hongwei stressed that there will be more cooperation in this field, saying that restoring Syria’s strong role is essential for the regional and international stability. Hongwei reiterated his country’s position refusing the interference in Syria’s domestic affairs and any sanctions imposed on it.
