The Exchange Club of Bowling Green is taking a field trip for the Tuesday meeting. The group will be meeting at the new city building on Main Street for lunch and a tour led by Mayor Mike Aspacher. Aspacher became mayor of Bowling Green on Jan. 1, 2020. He is a lifelong resident of Bowling Green, graduating from Bowling Green High School and attending Bowling Green State University. He spent 34 years as a member of Local 50. Aspacher held numerous positions within the trades over those years, retiring as a project manager for Dunbar Mechanical in 2018. His first elected position was in 1998, as a member of the Bowling Green City Schools Board of Education. He also served on the Bowling Green
