Road to recovery is bumpy for BG man: Saturday fundraiser planned

A fundraising event for a 35 year-old Bowling Green man who was recently diagnosed with cancer has been slated for Saturday from 6-10 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles club, 1163 N. Main St. William “Zack” McNemar was diagnosed in February with testicular cancer, at a time when he had just started a new job, according to his wife, Cassie. “He had been laid off his previous job around Thanksgiving time last year,” Cassie said. “He was so excited to have a job again in January,” The diagnosis came before he was eligible for health insurance at the new job, she said.
