Grammy award-winning singer Tori Kelly reportedly has been hospitalized after collapsing and is now being treated for blood clots.
TMZ reports that the songwriter was out on Sunday night with friends having dinner in downtown L.A. when she passed out. A source told the outlet Kelly was “out for a while” saying that her heart started being really fast before she was rushed to the hospital.

The publication reports that the 30-year-old Grammy winner was out to dinner with her friends in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday night when she passed out after saying that her heart was beating fast. She was then transferred to Cedars-Sinai hospital, where she is currently getting treatment in the ICU.
The 30-year-old singer is thought to have been dining out with friends on Sunday (23.07.23) evening in downtown L.A. when she passed out "for a while" and is now receiving treatment in an intensive care unit, according to TMZ.
At 16 years old, Tori the American Idol judges cut her from season 9 in 2010 right before the Top 24. The singer went on to become a Youtube star and sign a record deal. She took home Grammys in 2019 for Best Gospel Album and Best Gospel Performance/Song and won the Billboard Women in Music Breakthrough Artist Award in 2015.
Sources told the outlet that when the 'Sing 2' star arrived at the Cedars-Sinai hospital, doctors "discovered clots in her legs and her lungs" and medical staff are "still working to determine if any clots are around her heart."
Kelly, who is managed by SB Projects, signed to Epic Records earlier this year. The singer-songwriter unveiled her first single with the label, “Missin U,” and its Y2K-inspired music video in March. The song, which samples Craig David’s 2000 single “Fill Me In,” marked Kelly’s first new music since 2019’s Inspired by True Events and 2020’s A Tori Kelly Christmas. In 2019, she won best gospel album at the Grammys for her sophomore album Hiding Place and best gospel performance/song for “Never Alone.”
