Loving on the library: Novel Night raises money for materials ...Middle East

Tens of thousands of dollars were raised for the Wood County District Public Library on Thursday during the Novel Night fundraiser. Participants were treated to a savory dinner of juicy prime rib, plump shrimp, tangy hummus, a gourmet veggie tray and a variety of olives and cheeses. After dinner, auctioneer Shad Ridenour led a lively bidding session. Several Bowling Green State University coaches bid over each other to co-host “The Morning Show with Clint Corpe.” This ended up with a “double” bid of $2,000 each.
