Damascus, SANA- Speaker of the People’s Assembly Hammoudeh Sabbagh affirmed that the historical relations binding Syria and Iran are built on a solid foundation and have been promoted to the highest levels in all areas. Sabbagh made this statement on Wednesday during his meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Syria Mehdi Subhani in the Parliament building in Damascus. He also condemned the repeated Israeli aggressions on Syrian territories which come as a desperate attempt to undermine Syria and Iran.
