Forestry giant UPM has announced the sale of all its operations in the sanctioned country Finnish forestry holding UPM-Kymmene has finalized its withdrawal from Russia, according to a statement published on the company’s website on Monday. The firm, which engages in the production of paper, fiber and biofuel, said it had sold all its Russian operations, including the Chudovo plywood mill in Novgorod Region. The buyer of the assets was named as Gungnir Wooden Products Trading, although details of the transaction were not disclosed.
