A Ukiah man was arrested on suspicion of possessing illegal weapons after allegedly fleeing a fight with his girlfriend, the Ukiah Police Department reported. According to the UPD, an officer stopped a vehicle that was seen driving on South State Street around 11:15 a.m. March 24 at “an extremely high rate of speed.” Shortly after the driver yielded in the 2000 block of South State Street, the officer reported that a second vehicle that had also been speeding pulled up. The woman who exited that vehicle said her boyfriend was in the first vehicle and had taken her phone. The officer returned the phone to the woman, who said she did not want to prosecute, then spoke to the driver of the vehic
