There's a bit of "sympathy capital" in bringing modern Palestinian cuisine to a place like London, says chef Fadi Kattan, 45, co-founder of Notting Hill's new fine-dining restaurant Akub. "But I don't want people to come and eat at Akub because they're pro-Palestinian," he continues. "I want them to come and enjoy a meal." "Near-perfect Palestinian cuisine," says Time Out magazine.
